Philippines

Pet Microchip:

  • All pets entering or leaving Philippines must be microchipped with an ISO 11784/11785 compliant microchip.

Country Categories:

  • The Philippines does not categorize countries based on rabies status.

Vaccinations:

Rabies Titer Test:

Quarantine:

  • The Philippines does not require quarantine for pets from most countries.
  • However, random checks or quarantine may be conducted by the authorities.

Entering Philippines:

  • Pets must enter the Philippines through designated ports of entry such as airports or seaports.
  • Entry through other ports may require prior arrangements and approval from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI).

Transiting Philippines by Air:

  • Pets transiting through the Philippines by air are subject to the same import regulations as mentioned above.
  • The transit period should be as short as possible, and the pets must remain within the designated transit area.

Puppies and Kittens:

  • Specific regulations may apply to puppies and kittens entering the Philippines based on their age and vaccinations.

Banned Breeds:
